Lakemore funds. TheTen delivers.

01

TheTen identifies, scopes and delivers each project through its own partners on the ground. Lakemore Partners provides funding and corporate sponsorship, and does not operate the projects itself.

Of the eight projects TheTen has completed since 2019, we have co-funded three. The remaining five were funded through TheTen's wider network.

About TheTen

03

Founded in May 2019, TheTen has delivered projects across five countries — from its first school computer centre in Sri Lanka, to a water well and drilling machine in Zanzibar, reforestation in India, a science laboratory in Ethiopia, and the English literacy programme now underway across Tanzania. It works to three principles: direct — funding reaches the project itself, without intermediation; sustainable — assets that keep working long after the funding round closes; at source — sourced and delivered locally, alongside partners on the ground.

The next project

Bouncing Books is underway and will run through 2027. Lakemore and TheTen are actively scoping the next project, with the same principle that has guided all eight to date: direct funding, sourced locally, with a measurable result on the ground.
